Owl Owl OÜ operates independent web services from the EU.

We run open-source services for social networking, video, community discussion, and image hosting. The goal is straightforward: useful public services without ads, tracking, or investor pressure.

What We Operate

• C.IM — Mastodon for microblogging and Fediverse discussion
• P.LU — PeerTube for federated video hosting
• R.NF — Lemmy for links and community discussion
• Image.Hosting — image hosting for screenshots, embeds, and sharing

All services are hosted in the European Union and funded through donations and our own budget.

Our Values

• Openness — We use open-source software and publish our instance-specific code changes where practical.
• Privacy — We do not run an advertising business, sell user data, or profile people for engagement.
• Federation — C.IM, P.LU, and R.NF connect with the wider Fediverse instead of keeping users inside one closed service.

We maintain these services because we use them too.
